Although we often forget, it is incumbent on all Orthodox Christians to be evangelists. This is especially the case for those of us in the West today. Indeed, as Orthodox, we are beneficiaries of a great treasure, and the failure to share our Faith is akin to hiding our light under a bushel.

Consequently, this two-hour seminar will explore both the theology and methods of Orthodox evangelism.

​

In the first hour, we will consider the implications of God's Word taking on flesh, and so the very basis for Orthodox Christian mission. In the second hour, then, we will explore practical ways in which we can carry out the task of sharing and communicating effectively - as individuals and as parishes.

This discussion is meant for clergy and lay people alike.
